Personal possessions that had once belonged to the Kray twins, the U.K.’s most notorious gangsters, are to be auctioned this evening at Chiswick Auctions.

They include three pairs of Ronnie Kray’s Ray-Ban sunglasses; a signed 1964 photo of the besuited twins standing beside their mother in Vallance Road, the East End street where they grew up and my mother taught; and five hand-written poems by Reggie Kray, one of which is titled 'Their Was A Cripled Boy' (sic).
